Recovery and Lindy Hop
Lindy Focus has been over for almost a week now. Tonight is Graveyard, though I'm not sure what attendance will be like. On Monday night I'm pretty sure there were more people from Atlanta at Lindy Focus then there were at Hot Jam. Most I think are still not caught up on sleep while some others seem to have caught the Lindy Focus plague. This is the annual name that gets assigned to any and all sickness that gets passed around the dance camp.Its also cold which means that more people will stay in simple to not have to rush to our cars in the freezing weather. And its not looking good the next week or so. Tomorrow the low is 17 degrees!?!
But dispite the Focus plague and the 17 degree low there is a lot of new energy in the Atlanta dance scene right now. Hot Jam has had some of its best dances in years over the past few months and this dancer thinks things will just get better as the weeks go by.
